Manual Handling of Loads (1/2 day)

This fee is for up to 12 delegates, with the course run at either your premises or Gauntlet's*.

Objective

• This attendance course is designed to train delegates in both theoretical and ractical aspects of basic manual handling techniques for use in the workplace.
• To appraise delegates of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and the significance of risk assessment;
• To provide employees with an understanding of back related problems relevant to the manual handling of loads in workplace;
• To enable employees to improve their physical efficiency;
• To demonstrate and practice safe and effective methods of manual handling;
• To reduce the likelihood of injuries resulting from the manual handling of loads.

Suitable for
Any member of the management team or employee who Performs manual handling tasks as a part of their work and where the manual handling assessment for that person has identified a need for training.

Duration
3 Hours (9am - 12pm or 1pm to 4pm).

Certificate
Delegates will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
