Gauntlet is a HSE approved First Aid Training company and are also accredited by IOSH to deliver their Working Safely and Managing Safely courses. In addition a range of courses are available to compliment the consultancy work that Gauntlet provides and these are typically bespoken to suit our customer’s needs.

First Aid Appointed Person (1 day)

Course Fees
£475.00 plus VAT.
This fee is for up to 12 delegates, with the course run at either your premises or Gauntlet's*.

Objective
This attendance course is designed to train delegates in both theoretical and practical aspects of first aid to the syllabus recommended by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Who should attend?
Any member of the management team or employee who is to carry out the duties of an Appointed Person in the workplace.

When selecting employees for training, the employer should consider the individuals:

• reliability, disposition and communication skills;
• aptitude and ability to absorb new knowledge;
• ability to cope with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures;
• normal duties. These should be such that they may be left to go immediately and rapidly to an emergency.

Duration
One day (9am - 4.45pm).
